Bio
Artist CV (pdf)
My interpretation of the landscape is more about a sense rather than a representation. I usually start with a collection of ideas and information in the field, which transcends or morphs into a painting back in the studio. My paintings are an interpretation of the landscape showing its’ ancient geology, a sense of light, atmosphere and feeling depending on the time of day or season. My geological background comes to the fore as the underlying rock types and structure present themselves to the trained eye.
