Art Consulting

I aim to assist clients and collectors to select and acquire art for their home or business in a relaxed and informative way.

Selecting artworks requires time and may need one to consider the aesthetics of interior design, decoration or outdoor landscaping.

I am happy to be consulted; whether to offer an opinion, assess your collection and offer ideas on how to refresh your environment. This may include sourcing new artworks, or to start or add to an art collection, or perhaps to reframe, restore or rehang your current paintings and memorabilia.

Picture Framing or Art presentation

I am passionate about picture framing. Any artwork can be enhanced enormously by choosing the “right frame”.

This also includes conservation framing and presentation. I offer a personalised service which may include coming to your home or office, if requested, to gain a perspective on the space. No artwork is too small, too big, too inexpensive or too personal to frame or display.

Artworks may include mixed media, works on paper, fabric art (including embroidery, tapestry or vellum), 3D art, works on canvas or linen, memorabilia, and photography.

Acrylic boxes can be custom made to display ceramic or sculptural objects; or other precious items.

Picture Hanging

You may have recently relocated or bought a new painting.

You may wish to refresh a space by re-hanging your artworks? This may include mirrors, multiple paintings, photos or memorabilia.

The installation of a picture hanging system may be recommended, to allow ongoing flexibility in changing the position of your artworks at any time, without causing any damage to the walls.

Art Restoration

I offer art restoration for most artworks. You may not have noticed how dark and dull a beloved oil painting has become. Or perhaps noticed mould has grown across a favourite watercolour.

Restoring an artwork can be very rewarding. To see a painting re-surface from beneath dark varnish and discolouration is magical. To see works on paper come alive again once mould has been removed and with new conservation matting is a joy.
