Bio

Artist CV (pdf)

Art has been a constant companion for as long as I can remember. As an introverted child, I found sanctuary in the quiet act of creating—it became a space where I could express myself freely and make sense of the world around me. I paint and draw to better understand my subjects, and in doing so, to better understand myself. My work is often an exploration of emotion—whether it’s my own or that of the people, animals, or objects I depict. Even the seemingly inanimate can hold a story, stir feeling, or invite reflection. Sometimes, it’s simply the beauty of a subject that draws me in. Ultimately, I’m searching for a way to express something felt but not always spoken—a moment of connection, clarity, or calm. Making art helps me settle my thoughts; it is, in many ways, a form of therapy. I hope that my work can offer the same sense of reflection and emotional resonance to those who view it.
