My continuing subject with ceramic sculpture is the human being. In many guises and interpretations, I find the process engrossing and very enjoyable. My art is not pursuing a type or style, but truly comes from my imagination and I can only comply with the process of bringing my fanciful objects to life from my drawings. The theme Everyday Australians - brings together a collection of works from the last two years, incorporating the humanistic themes as well as the bird sculptures I call Austral Avians. Australians are a varied lot, so these works hover across the characters we might see from day to day, with my 'rather bent' interpretations.
