PAUL KAY | CONTINUATIONS

Wednesday, February 11, 2026 - Sunday, February 22, 2026

Frances Keevil at Studio W - 6 Bourke St, Woolloomooloo Wed - Sun, 11 - 5

JOIN THE ARTIST ON THURSDAY 12 FEBRUARY, 5 - 7PM Continuations brings together a collection of sculptural reliefs made over a four-year period, all produced in my home studio which I have come to call the ‘Bunker’. This is my third body of work, and during it’s development, I became increasingly aware of how my responses to social and environmental change have evolved over time. Alongside this outward attention, I’ve also found myself drawn back to the domestic – it’s spaces, routines, quiet tensions, and the long tradition in art of interpreting everyday interiors. An ongoing engagement with mid-to-late Modernism continues to shape my work, offering a framework through which these broader concerns can coexist. Most of these pieces are shaped from a single block of wood, mechanically reduced in stages and finished by hand, a process that allows for both control and variability.
